ResultMaps' quick alignment tool is accessible from just about anywhere in the app (and comes up in response to actions like completing an item). It allows you to link priorities and their status to other components of your team's workflow, like a specific 90-day goal/objective, a big project, or an important KPI.

Click the gear icon that appears on any item in ResultMaps, click organize, and then select align. In the pop-up window, you can align that item with your team's big picture strategy; an active project or saved process; KPIs and numbers; or any smaller item that doesn't fit into the above three options.

Click the goal, project, or number you want to align the item to, then click the checkbox.

Alternatively, you can align an item by dragging and dropping into the alignment sidebar, accessible by clicking the compass icon at the top right of your screen. Select the context you'd like to align the item to, drill in further if desired, then drag and drop the item.

Toggle add if you want the item to appear in its original context and the one you're dropping it into, or move if you want the item only to appear in the context that you're dropping it into.

Using this tool, you can quickly add items to a project or your team weekly priorities, as well as to a Rock/Objective or inside another action item.
