The Brain Dump Organizer can help you organize brainstorms and meeting notes in real time as you type them by using some of the following shortcuts: 


Create projects

Use the word Project: or List: to turn the words that follow the colon into a project title and the items anything immediately underneath the title as action items in that project. 


Create goals

Use the word Objective: or Goal: to turn the words that follow the colon into a project title and anything immediately underneath the title as action items or milestones in that project. 


Create action items

Use the - symbol or the > symbol to turn the item that follows into an action item. 


Assign an item to a teammate

Use the @ symbol followed by a teammate's name to assign an item to them. 


Add order

Use numerical numbers to create a specific order for items (e.g., 1, 2, 3, etc.).


You can also use hashtags in the Brain Dump as well.
